As a former Nissan owner I know that “how bad could it be” is never the right thing to say. That 4th gen Maxima I had would have been the easiest car in the world to work on new but the rapid rusting of anything and everything changes that real quick.

Aah!

But me thinks them bolts are just gonna shear. The ones holding the header flange to the exhaust flange sheared on the Mini when I was replacing the exhaust.

Yeah, probably 3/8" by now. (I keep forgetting which is the smaller of the two, which is why I printed out a souple of these to laminate and hang in my garage.)
